climate
The
inter-mountain valley of Dehradun is located between an altitude
of 2,300 & 3,300 feet (1000 meters) above sea level and is surrounded
by forests and mountains. In the quiet suburb of Old Rajpur the
air and water are clean. The climate is generally mild.
Dehradun experiences the following seasons:
Spring: March to mid April: mild weather, sunny days, cool nights.
Summer: mid April to mid June: hot dry days with sporadic rain showers.
Monsoon: mid June to mid September: frequent rainfall, warm weather.
Fall: mid September to mid November: clear sunny days, mild weather.
Winter: mid November to end February: sunny days, cold nights. February
could get wet weather.
